- 1 medium jicama peeled and cut into fries
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper optional
- 1 tbsp grated Parmesan optional
Bring a pot of water to a boil. Add the jicama fries and boil for 10 minutes to soften.
Drain and pat the jicama fries completely dry.
Toss them with olive oil, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper (if using).

Spread fries in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
